These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the SnapCards mobile application ("Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

SnapCards uses image recognition technology (via Anthropic) to convert user-provided images into study flashcards. The Service implements the Leitner System to manage card repetition based on user performance.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

SnapCards offers premium features through three subscription tiers. All payments are processed via the Apple App Store.

• Monthly Subscription: Billed every 30 days. Auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Yearly Subscription: Billed annually. Offers a discounted rate for a 12-month commitment. Auto-renews annually.
• Lifetime Purchase: A one-time payment for permanent access to current premium features. "Lifetime" refers to the lifespan of the SnapCards application.
• Billing: You authorize Apple to charge your selected payment method at the start of each renewal period.
• Cancellations: You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your App Store Account Settings.
• Fair Usage: SnapCards operates fair use snap limits per subscription tier. Limits reset monthly. Abuse of the service may result in account suspension.

3. AI Accuracy & User Responsibility

• Accuracy Disclaimer: SnapCards uses AI to interpret diagrams and notes. AI outputs may not always be 100% accurate, complete, or reliable.
• Human Review Required: You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying the accuracy of all flashcards before using them for study or exams.
• No Educational Guarantee: SnapCards is a study aid; we do not guarantee specific academic results or grades.

4. User Content & Conduct

• Ownership: You retain ownership of the photos you take. You grant SnapCards a limited license to process these images through our AI partners solely to provide the Service.
• Prohibited Use: You may not use SnapCards to process copyrighted material you do not own, or to generate content that is illegal, offensive, or harmful.

5. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SnapCards shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from your use of the app or reliance on AI-generated content.
